I just wanted to let you know that Henson Dealerships are moving out all of the 2011 models and they are making Amazing deals everyday! So go on up to Madisonville and see "No Bull Bill" and tell him I sent ya! Without Henson Dealerships, these Ropings would not be possible! Thanks to the entire Henson family and Team!
We just finished up our winter series in Huntsville, TX. Thank you to Stevenson Beer Distributors & Kurt and Glyna Stevenson for sponsoring our Ropings! In just our ADDED MONEY Shoot Out Round we gave away $4000.00 in cash to the top 8 in each event! Actually I should say, I let the top 8 rope 1 calf (no stock charge) and then the top 4 from that came back and voted on how they wanted to pay out the added money in each roping and then they roped another calf (no stock charge) for all of the money! Some chose 3 monies, some 2 and the 00 Ropers decided to pay 4 monies! It was a great day, Clint Nyegaard was the dj during the shoot out round playing some definite pump up music! I guess my country classics were not up to par for the Added Money Shoot out Round! Oh well, I am the way I am! The top winners were in the Jr. Tie-down - Jordan Siminoe $90.00, the Girls Breakaway Champ - Kelli Rula $369.00, and Ashley Moreau 2nd -$246.00. The Open Breakaway champ- Ashley Moreau $369.00, and Kelli Rula-$246! As you can tell both Ropings had the exact same amount of Added Money of $615.00. Crazy huh? The 00 Tie-down champ - CJ Owens-354.00, Scott Cunningham, $265.00, Clay Klawinsky- $177.00 and Joe Bell -$ 88.00. The #1 Champ was Torah McGowan winning $339.00, Justin Broderick won 2nd with $226.00. The #2 & #3 champ was youngster Riley Meyer- 390.00 and second went Shawn Pierce $260.00. The entire pot had in it, 650.00. The Open Tie-down was Spence Barney. He won $342!! George Rowland was 2nd with $228.00! The total pot for the Open was $570.00!! All in all it was a great roping and on behalf of myself and my family, I would like to say THANK YOU to all the Ropers who continue to support our Ropings! This was our way of saying Thank you.....no stock charge and you get to pick how many monies you want it to pay!
We will be back in Navasota starting Feb. 4th & 5th. 12 noon! We hope to see all of you there!!
Also every Wednesday Night in Feb. We will have weekly roping jackpots!! They are all 2 for 60!! Enter as many times as you want just as long as you are on a different horse!! It's going to be great fun so please come see us, Rope, and leave with a pocket full of money!!! Open Brkwy, 00, #1, and Open Tie-down.
Also our CKC Registered Purebred Great Pyrenees Dog had her litter of puppies this week!! 14 to be exact some are already sold, but if you are interested, let me know, $650 each. Or 2 for $1100.00 they are Awesome Livestock guarding dogs! Click to see last years litter.
